Best dumpling in town. I love it.

They have great lunch specials.

Food is good but service is not!!! This is the second time I’ve been here & the staffs are not friendly. They don’t smile, don’t greet or say thank you. I’m a very polite person. I can’t stand poor customer service.

Dumpling King is really good Chinese cuisine. I have never had a bad meal here. The food is really fresh, and so it takes just a bit longer than some of the places that practically take up your order and show up with a plate of food in two minutes. Their cashew chicken is outstanding, and I really enjoy an order of chicken fried rice on occasion. Great, polite service, and the restaurant is always immaculately clean.

Very nice. Everything went well, you find good service and tasty food.

Food is ok. Egg drop soup lacked color and flavor. Food was disorganized. We did not eat at the same time as others on my table. We had to watch each other eat because our food was not all together. Example: 2 of 4 had soup then when done the other two got their soup. Same with dumplings. Then after the soup and dumplings were eaten our rice arrived. Disorder!! No I do not recommend

My absolute favorite place in Houston to get dumplings!! I've been going there since the early 1990's and every time the service and food are great. it is a real "comfort food" kind of place.

I've been going to this place for 20 years. The Dumplings never disappoint. If I visit a restaurant and they have Dumplings I try them and there is no question these are the best in Houston.

I got shrimp and pork pan seared dumplings from Dumpling king and the pork dumpling tasted so bad! The shrimp was fair but the pork tasted like it was rotten. I am not sure what the dumpling rave is about this place but am so disappointed. It also took more than 20 minutes for them to get the dumpling and they didn't even have a lot of people in there.

Got 10 with the intention to eat half now and half later, ended up eating all 10 cuz they're delicious. And prices are good. Easy choice for lunch

They don't look very fancy but this is certainly a hole in the wall style restaurant with the best Chinese food you could possibly imagine and very reasonably priced. It is family owned and it is obvious that they care about the quality of their food, the owners are great hardworking people, try the green onion pancakes with some fresh grind ginger and condiments it is the best you have ever had, their Beef Lomain is to die for, my Girlfriend loves their eggplant dish, we have come here many times and we have tried several of their dishes and all of them has surprisingly exceeded our expectations every time, so nothing but 2 thumbs up for this place!

Their dumplings are awesome, and the price is reasonable. The parking is limited in the front, so I had to park in the back. It was inconvenient, but the good food and good price was all worth it.

Food is good love it there .mainly the steam pork purses and there pork with garlic sauce .the service is great its just home .

I love places like this because the food is usually delicious compared to over rated restraunts. They did not disappoint. The lady worker was sweet and kind.

Small, simple place in yet another semi-shady Houston strip mall. Parking could be better, and the food is a little slow to come out, but in the end it is completely worth it.

Should be called Dumpling King of the Magic Wok. Best Chinese dumplings in town and amazingly good entrees! The location is a bit rough and parking is not sufficient but still worth the trek.

Casual spot for excellent dumplings near uptown.

Been coming here for at least 30 years. While the dumplings are decent what makes them extra is the condiments. I really miss the Deep Fried Cashew Chicken in a Honey Shanghai Sauce from days gone by. Their current Cashew Chicken is good but not the excellence that was.

Busy little hole-in-the-wall establishment specializing in dumplings (Though you ask me, their name should be Noodle King because that's where they rein supreme). Easy to miss and difficult to park, but worth going to if you're looking for a old-school place with timeless gitty charm.

This place deserves zero stars!!!! I went here due to childhood memories and the order taker was quite rude to me. I called them first and the lady said she would come outside to take my order. Meanwhile there is a couple that is already standing and waiting. I was their before them. The lady comes out and automatically starts taking their order. I said to the order taker I was here first. The couple meaning the women said to go ahead and take her order. I said you know what forget it. The lady said “their you go!” Wow! Is all I can say. They were clearly discriminating against me because of my race. The owner of a neighboring establishment said they don’t even order from them. If your a person of color stay far away because clearly they cater to a certain type of people💋

Great place to go during lunch. Cheap, made to order dumplings, and delicious dipping. The only downside is that it does take a while to get these dumplings. I ordered through the phone 10 minutes before arriving and it still took an additional 10 minutes when I got there. I got 10 steamed pork and shrimp dumplings and 10 pan fried. $15 total for 20 dumplings. Their dipping consists of fresh jalapeno and ginger. I normally mix those 2, add soy sauce, and sugar. It pairs well! Overall, great place to go. Don't come here for a glamorous meal, this is a small shop.

The dumplings are made fresh to order. Plus I get to put together my own mix of sauce, I like mine extra spicy!! They also have a delicious assortment of other foods including my favorite, lo mein!!

Food was good (I only got fried dumplings) but the cigar bar next door made the entire restaurant smell like smoke. I'm not a smoker and I could not get out of the restaurant fast enough. The beef dumpling was ok, but the pork ones were very tasty.
